Cross-country teams among top 5 in state

Members of the Trimble County High School cross-country team are off to a fast start this season. On Sept 9, the team traveled to Henry County to participate in 1600-meter and 5K runs, alongside athletes from Owen, Carroll and Henry counties, as well as Eminence Independent Schools and Cornerstone Christian Academy.

Results from the 1600m girls race were:

Erin Gonterman, 1st, Olivia Cooley, 3rd, Kirsten Baird, 5th, Morgan Chappell, 9th, Katie Gonterman, 14th, Amber Bowyer, 16th, Naidelyn Cabada, 18th, Bonnie Wilson, 20th, Kayla Bailey, 23rd, and Allanis Rosell, 26th.
