County Judge-Executive Randy Stevens said the idea to adopt the ban, versions of which reportedly have been passed in Warren, Laurel, McCracken, Ballard and Rowan counties in the past several weeks, came after he and county magistrates attended an assembly at Trimble County High School on Friday.
