College Application Week a success

-A A +A

Trimble County High School had a 100% completion rate from the senior class for College Application Week, according to Brigette Kunselman, school guidance counselor. The 82 members of the class successfully completed 177 applications to colleges and universities.  In addition, they downed 450 pieces of bacon, seven gallons of milk and juice, and enough pancakes and waffles to feed a small army at their pancake “kickoff” breakfast.

The seniors worked together on Friday to help the community prepare for Light Up Bedford, the Dec. 2 event that will mark the opening of the Christmas holiday season in the city.

“Consider it icing on the cake after a week of college preparation through applications, informative sessions and a little relaxation,” TCHS Principal Stirling “Buddy” Sampson said. “If you or your family attend the Light Up Bedford ceremony, or simply enjoy the beauty as you pass by, mentally thank a senior!”
