Carrollton Natl. Guard unit preparing for call to duty

The families of Army National Guard’s Alpha Battery 2nd 138th Field Artillery in Carrollton are getting ready for an expected deployment sometime in 2012.

Preparedness for what lies ahead was the message delivered by speakers and unit leaders at the National Guard unit’s annual family picnic a week ago.
