Carroll edges Trimble girls in tennis

Trimble County High School’s girls’ tennis team traveled to Carrollton to face Carroll County on their courts at the Robert Westrick Memorial Park. Carroll County won the match 3-2.

In Number 1 Singles play, Trimble’s Sabrina Vest was defeated by Lyndie Burns, 5-7, 4-6.

In Number 2 Singles play, Trimble’s Kalee Cook defeated Sarah McCarter, 6-2, 6-6, 7-3 (tie breaker).

In Number 3 Singles play, Trimble’s Ciarra Harmon played an even matchup with Andrea Williams but was defeated with a score of 7-5, 4-6, 4-6.
