Editor: I have lived in Trimble County for 11 years. Prior to that, Oldham County for 15 years.  I bought land out here to retire, and am very happy that I did. When I first bought the property on Devin Drive, the road was gravel and full of holes. It got so bad that it was like a bombed-out road in a war zone. When Judge Stevens came in office, I approached him one-on-one to get something done with our road. My emphasis was not totally personal. I wanted a paved road for emergency vehicle access, mail service and school-bus pickup for all residents on Devin Drive. Mr.
