Call local bee collector if hives unwanted

-A A +A

I am writing in response to an article from The Spring Spruce-up, inserted in last week’s The Trimble Banner. The article called bees pests, (cutline under picture) and said “bees are among the many insects that return to wreak havoc on homeowners”

I have heard of many a beehive being destroyed. We need to stop and think bees have to survive if we are to survive. Honeybees help crops that produce our foods. There are a lot of diseases that are killing hives. What I would like to ask is, if you have a honeybee hive where you do not want one, call your local bee collector. He will be more than happy to come and get the bees. I have said honeybees are a sticky business, but they deliver sweet rewards.
