CARROLLTON, Ky. – Brenda A. Earls, 62, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at her residence in Carrollton.
Funeral services will be held today at the Pentecostals of Carrollton Church in Carrollton from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the Revs. Ron Tiller, E.D. Puckett and James Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery, Warsaw, Ky.
Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Avenue, Carrollton is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Earls was born April 1, 1946, in Warsaw to the late Virgil T. and Elizabeth (Beach) Adams.
She was a former registered nurse for Gallatin Health Care in Warsaw and Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton.
Mrs. Earls graduated from the University of Louisville, receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Pentecostals of Carrollton Church.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie C. Earls of Carrollton; a daughter, Teresa Sanders of Carrollton; a step-daughter, Charlotte Unker of Carrollton; a step-son, Dennis Earls of Frankfort, Ky.; a sister, Pamela Perry of Warsaw; six brothers, Gerald Adams and Eddie Lilly, both of Hopkinsville, Ky., Steve Adams of Worthville, and Larry Adams, Jeff Adams and Cliff Lilly, all of Warsaw; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Lilly, and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are Luke Unker, Eli Unker, Eric Earls, Anthony Gally, Scott Moore, Josh Oliver. Honorary pallbearers are William Miller and Jason Earls.
