The boil water advisory for a limited number of Bedford-area customers of Trimble County Water District No. 1 issued last week was lifted at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29. Between 10 and 20 customers had lost water service due to water service repairs, which were conducted Tuesday.
The advisory was issued as a precaution in the unlikely event of bacteriological contamination occurring while the main was depressurized. No major problems were experienced with the repairs, District representatives said.
The District appreciates your patience and apologizes for the inconvenience, the statement said. If you have questions about your water quality, contact the District at 255-7554.
