WABASH, Ind. – Billy Dan Patton, 48, of Wabash died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at his home.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 9, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Pastor Rob Barton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
Mr. Patton was born Feb. 21, 1960, in Wabash to the late Billy Scott and Oueda (Meadows) Patton.
He worked at Abresist in Urbana, Ind., for the past nine years. He was a member of the Wabash Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR and outdoor activities, especially mushroom hunting, and enjoyed being around people.
He is survived by longtime companion Delores West of Wabash; a daughter, Heather Patton of Bunker Hill, Ind.; a son, Nathan Patton of Peru, Ind.; six step-children, Laura Davidson of North Manchester, Ind., Jamie (Eric) Webb, Tammie Cole, Daniel Davidson, and Christopher West, all of Wabash, and Elijah (Diana) West of Cromwell, Ind.; one grandson, Jayke Andrew Merritt of Bunker Hill; two brothers , Jack (Patty) Patton, Scott (Lisa) Patton both of Wabash; a sister, Rita (Jon) Gage, Wabash; and 14 step-grandchildren.
