Oldham County complaints gave same description of truck

A Bedford man is charged with second-degree wanton endangerment after authorities say he attempted to run bicyclists off the road during the summer in his truck.
Following a two-month investigation, Oldham County Police on Tuesday arrested Robert James Wagner, 22, after he reportedly confessed he had attempted to run a cyclist off an Oldham County roadway in August.
A number of cyclists this summer reported to police that a red Dodge Ram 4x4 approached them head on, causing them to swerve to avoid being struck by the vehicle. Victims described the truck as an extended cab that displayed a Kentucky-registered farm plate.
Others reported that a truck fitting that description passed them on the roadway before slamming on its brakes and belched black smoke from its tailpipe before fleeing from the scene, reports said.
Oldham County Police are asking other victims to come forward by contacting them at (502) 222-0111.
