Bedford to hire cemetery employee

The Bedford City Commission has voted to hire a seasonal mowing and maintenance person to perform duties at the Bedford Cemetery and other city property.

The unanimous vote came during a special meeting Friday. The commissioners had discussed the cemetery situation briefly during their regular monthly meeting on March 21, but took no action.
