Alma Muriel Taylor Welch, 87, Bedford, died Jan. 4, 2013, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She was born on March 31, 1925 in Carroll County, Ky., to the late Verni and Mary Alice Jones Taylor.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah McCane, Milton; a son, Brewier Wayne Welch, Wesley Chapel, Fla.; three sisters, Lena Edwards, Milton, Dorothy Williams, Morristown, Tenn., and Lola Vories, Campbellsburg; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
