The Kentucky Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Branch has found 82 deficiencies in a permit application filed by LG&E and KU Energy for a proposed 189-acre special waste landfill to be located at the utility company’s Trimble County Generating Station.
In a certified letter to LG&E and KU Energy engineer W. Paul Puckett, Solid Waste Branch Manager Ronald Gruzesky, P.E., said that the deficiencies were discovered during a review of the application filed by the utility on Jan. 4, 2014.
