Bedford Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at noon at the Trimble County Public Library.

Madison Pediatrics of KDH and Pathways Youth Shelter will present a special program to educate adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m., cost $5 per person. Call Jill Turner at 812-265-0323 for register. Food will be provided.


Oct. 9-10

Milton Baptist Church is hosting a “24-Hour Fall Break with God.” The event features activities for all ages, including overnight campout, flag football, karaoke and crafts. Saturday, Oct. 10

Bedford United Methodist Church, 10 Fairview Circle, will host The Bedford Festival of Christian Worship. The event is from 1-3:30 p.m. and features with music, drama, liturgical dance and more. Performances by Vickie Banks and Heaven’s Light inside the church; As I am and Dustin Temple and Hannah Cain will perform outside, weather permitting. Snacks and fellowship follow. TCHS Class of 1984 will celebrate its 25-year reunion at 6 p.m. at the Broadway Restaurant in Madison, Ind. No invitations will be sent. There will be no cost other than food and drink ordered at the restaurant.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

Trimble County Republican Party Potluck Supper is set for 6:30-8 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library in Bedford. Bring a dish and a friend.

The North Central KY Goat Producers meet at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office. Ken Andries, animal science specialist at Kentucky State University, will demonstrate how to perform goat and sheep fecal samples to check for internal parasites. JCTC Trimble County Adult Education offers free GED preparation, job skills upgrade, college preparation, brush up on academic skills, and paraeducator testing. TCHS Class of 1989 plans reunion: Party like it’s 1989 again, starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Trimble County Park 4-H building. Please RSVP on Facebook.


An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held Oct. 24 at Tri-County Community Action Agency, 4240 U.S. 421 North, Bedford, for ages 50 and older. Anyone participating who is over age 60 may take the class for free. The class will discuss driving techniques, new traffic laws and rules of the road. There are no tests and no behind-the-wheel driving. Completion provides eligibility for an auto insurance discount. For those younger than 60, AARP members pay $12 and all others pay $14.
